A first Los Angeles outpost for chef Enrique Olvera (of Pujol and Cosme fame), Damian is divided in two distinct experiences, a converted factory interiorl with rich wood tones lit with a simple toplit distribution of surface mounted cylinders that provide light to an evolving seating arrangement without fuss or adjustment.

Planting, silhouetted against brick in a reference to Cosme, the restaurant’s New York sibling flows to the exterior where it si accented to create a vibrant green light.

Simplicity and attitude are challenging elements to reconcile in light – requiring a blend of attention to the objects of light and its participation in the space.

Glare free downlights glow down on wood and the cuisine, animating the tones of the space.
The dining experience is about the company we keep and the bread we break together. For as rich as the lighting of Damian is, it is its impact on people that is most profound.

Signature lighting experiences demand craft attention and unique solutions.
